Troy Sebastian here. As promised, here is my post about Sunday's ride in New York.. but this time it's not in Manhattan, it's in Brooklyn. We started off from Bay Ridge and into Owl Head Park. That park basically led us to a path that went straight through Brooklyn and into Coney Island.

We took a two minute break for pictures. Below is Rain - Ana Lucia's master, and me.. and that's the Verrazano Bridge in the background. That's the bridge we took to get into the city, but we were driven in.. I have yet to ride on a bridge! I'm waiting for my big opportunity to do so!

My master has been getting too comfortable with riding a bike, so she keeps trying to multi-task. Here you see her taking pictures while she's riding her bike.. it's so dangerous! And notice how her hair got into the picture! But along with her hair, she managed to catch Rain and Ana Lucia in the picture too.. you can even still see the Verrazano Bridge in the back too.

At least she stopped to take this picture:

This is Elaine's father with the Raleigh, and Rain and Ana Lucia in the background..
and the bridge is still there, too!

We rode all the way to Coney Island area and then stopped for a quick break at Spumoni Gardens. They had their square pizza slices while us three bikes just relaxed in the shade. Afterwards, Elaine absentmindedly rode with a can of OPENED soda in her hand and spilled some Pepsi on me. I was not happy with her. So when she wasn't paying attention, I purposely rode over some bumps so she could spill some on herself. Take THAT!!

I think she got the hint because two seconds later, she threw away the can of soda when it wasn't even finished. =) So after Spumoni Gardens, we backtracked our way to Bay Ridge area and rested there until it was time to go home. The trails we took to and from Spumoni Gardens was not smoothe at all.. there were so many cracks on the trails and way too many people as we approached Coney Island. It was a beautiful view, but it was almost dangerous because of how many people were there! And no one was paying attention to the warnings of my bell!

Before I end this post, I wanted to put up this picture that was taken on our way back to Bay Ridge. If you click on the picture to enlarge it, you will notice that Rain was dangerously riding Ana Lucia with his feet off the pedals! I don't know why these riders are so daring.. It's a little irresponsible if you ask me. If either of us get hurt, we'll know who to blame.
